Perry King

Perry Firestone King is an American television and film actor. King played the role of Cody Allen on the detective series Riptide from 1983 to 1986.

King was born in Alliance, Ohio his father was a physician. His maternal grandfather was Maxwell Perkins, a wellknown editor for the publishing house Charles Scribners Sons. Through Perkins, King is the greatgreatgrandson of U.S. Senator William M. Evarts and the greatgreatgreatgreatgrandson of Roger Sherman, one of the signers of the Declaration of independence. King received a degree in drama from Yale University, and also studied at Juilliard.
